1. General provisions


These buying – selling rules are legally obligatory document that determines reciprocal rights, duties and responsibilities of a buyer and the seller when buying commodities at the online shop BalticBuy.com.


2. Information about us


2.1. BalticBuy.com is a website operated by JSC Gintarinis suvenyras (Seller). We since 2002 year are registered in Lithuania under the company number 135907745 and with our trading address at Vilniaus str. 32, Kaunas LT-44287, Lithuania.


3. Formation of the purchase contract


3.1 First of all, in order to be able to purchase it is necessary to register. We do guarantee that the personal data of a buyer will be safe according to all the valid legislations of Lithuania.
3.2 The contract between the buyer and the Seller is considered to be formed from the moment the buyer clicks “Order“ after he or she has chosen the wanted item/ items and has formed the shopping cart. Items‘ ordering and payment are confirmed by VAT invoice which is sent to the indicated e-mail or with the delivery of commodities.
3.3 In order to make a legally obligatory a commodity buying contract the seller‘s e-mail about confirmation is necessary.
3.4 Each contract made between the buyer and the Seller is being registered and stored in our online shop database.


4. Rights of the parties


4.1 A buyer has a right to buy commodities in the online shop according to these rules and following the online shop set order.
4.2 If the buyer tries to damage the online shop work or stable operation, the seller may stop the buyer‘s possibility to use the online shop servises without an early warning or, in specific situations, remove the buyer‘s registration.


5. Obligations of the parties


5.1 The buyer must accept the ordered items and pay for them.
5.2 If during the delivery of the commodities the buyer refuses to accept them, he or she must pay the expenses of the delivery.
5.3 If the buyer, after completing the order, decided to cancel it, he or she must inform the Seller within one working day by e-mail.: info@balticbuy.com or by phone number +370 37 225126.
5.4 Using the online shop the buyer agrees to the following Buying – Selling rules and must follow them.
5.5 The seller will deliver the buyer odered items to the indicated address within the agreed delivery time.
5.6 Bying unable to deliver the oredered items to the buyer, the seller returns the paid money in five working days.


6. Price


6.1 The price of any Goods will be as quoted on our website from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.
6.2 The prices are including VAT, but exclusive of delivery charges, which will be added to the total amount.
6.3 Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect any orders which we have already accepted.


7. Payment procedure

7.4 Only after receiving the payment for the commodities the package of the items and the term of delivery is being started to count.


8. Export sales


8.1 If you order goods from our website for delivery outside the Lithuania, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.


9. Quality


9.1 All our amber is sourced from reliable suppliers, which are members of the International Amber Association. This guarantees that only genuine Baltic amber is used in the jewellery.
9.2. All metals we use are guaranteed to be of the quality stated.
9.3 All our products comply with the nickel directive.
9.4 For any BalticBuy item priced over 15  we also offer a free Certificate of the Origin. Just let us know about it by e-mail.: info@balticbuy.com.
9.4 Any Goods which you believe are defective must be returned to us within 14 days of purchase.


10. Packaging


10.1 All our Goods are carefully packaged, too reach the customer safe as possible.
10.2 Any BalticBuy item priced over 87 € will come packaged in the luxury gift box or gift wrapped, depending from the size and kind of the item.

11. Delivery of commodities


11.1 The commodities are being delivered in a period of 4 to 30 working days.
11.2 The commodities are being delivered by the Seller's authorized representative.
11.3 You can get your own carriers to collect the goods. Please contact us by mail.: info@balticbuy.com.


12. Return of commodities


12.1 The commodities may be returned following the order of June 29, 2001 of the minister of the economy of the Republic of Lithuania No. 217 “for the return and exchange of items approval of rules”.
12.2 Commodities bought at BalticBuy.com may be returned within 14 working days.
12.3 Before returning a commodity a buyer must inform the seller by e-mail or telephone and indicate the reason for returning it.
12.4 The returned commodities must be in set. The buyer is responsible for the complementing and packing of the items. If the commodity is not in set and its packing is not proper, the seller or a representative of his/ hers does not accept the commodity to be returned.
12.5 The commodity must be returned in the same packaging it was delivered in. the packaging must not be damaged. It must be clean, properly prepared and packed.
12.6 The buyer returns the commodities by his/her own vehicle, except for the cases the items are returned because of quality.
12.7 When the returned commodity is defective, the seller is obliged to accept it and to change it to a parallel one. If the seller does not have it, he or she returns the money paid for the commodity.
12.8. According to the rules of regulated retail and 6.362 of the Civil Code Article jewelry articles are considered to be non-recoverable products.


13. Responsibility


13.1 A buyer is responsible for the correctness of the data given in the ordering form. If the buyer did not give the exact data in the ordering form, the seller does not respond for the appeared consequences. For the actions taken while using online shop services the buyer is responsible himself or herself.
13.2 The seller is not responsible for the information given in websites of other companies, even though the buyer finds them following the links at the seller’s online shop.
13.3 The visual material found on the online shop is illustrative. Therefore, the appearance of the item may differ from the packing.

15. Final provisions


15.1 These rules take effect from the moment of their confirmation and are valid till the parties would fulfill all commitments that are related to them.
15.2 All arguments are being solved by negotiation. If the parties do not come to an agreement, the argument may be submitted to the court according to the order formed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
